We have a brilliant opportunity for an experienced and driven BAS Agent to join our professional and close-knit Bookkeeping & Tax Services team.

About the Role

This role is responsible for the professional delivery of bookkeeping and BAS services to a portfolio of trade and construction clients, who each have their own specific requirements. Activities include but are not limited to:

  • Reconciliation of accounts
  • Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS
  • Payroll tax and superannuation processing
  • Monthly and quarterly financial and management reports
  • EOY financials and related activities
  • Client engagement and review meetings
  • Analysis and audit
  • Set up of new clients
  • Education, training, and support for the team and our clients

Skills & Experience

  • Bookkeeping qualifications, minimum Certificate IV (essential)
  • BAS Agent Registration (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB (certification ideal)
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Experience managing a multi-client portfolio
  • Strong customer-facing competencies
  • Demonstrated experience working with small business (preferred)
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Trade and construction industry experience (preferred)
