We have a brilliant opportunity for an experienced and career motivated Bookkeeper to join our professional Finance Services team.

About the Role

This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of trade and construction clients. This is a busy and varied role, and we are looking for someone with the experience. Activities include but are not limited to:

  • Account and bank reconciliations
  • Accounts receivable and payable
  • Processing BAS and IAS
  • End of year and end of month financial reporting
  • Processing payroll and related expenses
  • Data entry
  • Client engagement and review

Skills & Experience

  • Bookkeeping qualifications or other formal training (Certificate IV in Bookkeeping ideal)
  • 3 – 5 years experience as a bookkeeper
  • Registered BAS Agent (ideal) or looking to be a BAS Agent
  • Working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB (certification ideal)
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Payroll experience
  • Knowledge of Awards, agreements, NES, LSL, and Redundancy
  • Execution of EOFY processes
  • Management of Contractor compliance
  • Experience using various accounts related applications and add ons
  • Experience in bookkeeping practice or managing a multi-client portfolio
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Trade and construction industry experience (preferred)
