Business Development Manager

Team: Operations (Sales & Marketing)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of our key business objectives by generating sales, prospecting, networking, and developing new business opportunities. Activities may include but are not limited to:

  • Identify and manage opportunities that grow the Clever Cow business
  • Manage the full sales cycle
  • Build & maintain relationships with our clients, prospects, industry associations and supply partners
  • Act as an advocate for clients internally, ensuring service delivery and engagement meets expectations and the changing demands of our clients and industry

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business/management or similar
  • Exceptional people and communication skills 
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with a track record of achieving or exceeding set targets
  • Knowledge of the construction trade industry
  • Experience working with small and medium business, preferably related to the trades (advantageous)
  • Experience with CRM software
