We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and results driven Finance Business Manager to join our growing team. You will be the first point of contact for our portfolio of trade & construction clients in relation to Finance Services, including BAS & Bookkeeping.

About the Role

This role is responsible for overseeing the professional delivery of Bookkeeping & Tax services to a portfolio of trade & construction clients. Activities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Engaging with our clients to deliver finance services including financial reporting, cash flow analysis, finance manager input and tax services (if relevant) 
  • Engaging with our clients to deliver business planning and forecasting with appropriate financial modelling and analysis
  • Oversee and manage the workflow of a small team which handles daily financial operations and bookkeeping
  • Provide feedback on key performance metrics to management in respect to our service performance, competitors, and the market
  • Provide high quality professional, friendly and clear communication to internal and external stakeholders

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role (essential)
  • CPA/CA qualified (essential)
  • Registered BAS Agent of Tax Agent (desired)
  • Experience managing a multi-client portfolio
  • Demonstrated experience managing and leading a team of finance professionals
  • Demonstrated experience working with small businesses
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong business and commercial acumen
